Well hello and welcome to Foot and Nail Health. My name is Yvette. I have been a registered nurse for over 20 years and advanced practice registered nurse (NP) for over 10 years spending most of my career providing nursing services in community-based settings. If you are homebound, overweight, have difficulty with mobility or systemic conditions such as diabetes, and have difficulty managing your feet and toenails, then my services are for you! Maybe you live alone and do not have anyone who can provide foot care, well guess what? Foot and Nail Health will come to you and provide individualized routine foot care services. My focus is to deliver high-quality foot and nail care to your front door, allowing you to receive care in a convenient, comfortable, and familiar environment.
I am a certified foot care nurse (CFCN) through the Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse Certification Board (WOCNCB) and certified foot care specialist (CFCS) through the American Foot Care Nurses Association (AFCNA). Both certifications allow me to provide the quality of foot care for patients including inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. Certification also shows my peers, patients, employers, and the public that I am qualified, competent, and current, in evidence-based care to provide Nursing Foot Care. I am a member of the WOCNCB Marketing Committee, a published nurse, and a speaker on foot health topics. My mission is education and prevention, one sole at a time.
