Foot and Nail Health provides mobile foot care services designed to meet your foot care needs including prevention of complications such as foot ulcers and amputations. Our services focus on "routine" foot care that is not traditionally covered by insurance. As your trusted certified Foot and Nail Health nurse, we guarantee personalized and professional foot care.

Will Medicare or insurance cover my service?At this time, insurance does not cover routine foot care. At your request, I will provide you with a receipt that you may submit to your insurance company to see if they will reimburse you.

Where is your office located?Foot and Nail Health is completely mobile, and I come to you. Services are provided in the comfort of your home, office, church, day program etc. I service the Baltimore Maryland and surrounding areas. If you live than 30 miles away from Baltimore City including DC and Northern Virginia, there will be a $50 travel fee added to the cost of the service.

Will you soak my feet like they do at the nail salon?Soaking of feet if done, will be determined on a per case basis. Prolonged soaking may create an increased risk for bacteria especially for high risk individuals such as those with Diabetes and compromised circulatory conditions.

How do you clean your equipment?I follow Center for Disease Control(CDC) guidelines which includes use of chemical disinfectant solution for the cleaning of semi-critical instruments.

How is a foot care nurse different from a podiatrist?Podiatrist are trained Physicians who specialize in treating the foot, ankle, and leg. Because Podiatrist are trained at a higher level, they can provide advanced foot and nail treatment including surgery if needed. A referral will be recommended if there is a condition I am not able to manage.
